Preach what you practice?
Not so easy.... sometimes.
We all know what to do, but do we do it? Like digging into a big bowl of ice cream when stressed out, mad, angry, unhappy, disappointed, frustrated..... seeking something outside of ourself to sooth us.
When we face difficult situations - how is it we can give someone constructive advise, but we fall apart?
B A L A N C E
Some times telling our self to "get over it" just doesn't work
Some times telling ours self to "let it go" just doesn't work
|Put your big girl panties on and deal with it?
Acting out of emotions? Sometimes we do "need to follow our heart", sometimes not.
Acting out of Logic? Sometimes we need to "remove emotions and think about it logically" sometimes not.
Acting out of .... what's left? Oh, ya.... Acting out of our "Spirit" Hopefully, that's healthy!
Ya know.... WWJD (what would Jesus do) Now, how can that be wrong?
Are your actions and thoughts matching up with "Christ like" behavior?
So when your emotions, logic and spirit are in sync.... that's PEACE
We say we seek Justice (I think some say Justice when they really mean Retaliation)
Well, TAKE a deep breath then "don't think" "don't get emotional" but ask yourself
What would Jesus do in this situation, he loved the sinner! He reach out in love and kindness to all.
He did get pretty mad when the temple of the Lord was used as a Market.
That moves me into the .... point of
Our Bodies are HIS TEMPLE - what are we using it for?
Our voice should be
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths,
but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs,
that it may benefit those who listen.
Our Minds should be
5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Not always easy to let go of the body and mind and walk in the Spirit.
When we're stressed we are HURTING OURSELVES!
Speak the WORD OF GOD and Seek the WORD OF GOD to find the answers.
When you reach for "dessert"... to satisfy your soul and comfort you...

Breath and close your eye's -
FOCUS on who is your strength
FOCUS on HONORING and RESPECTING yourself
It'll bring peace to your soul
Salute: To your health and wellness
Your MIND and SPIRIT's Health affects the Health of your BODY:
Judge and you will be Judged
Reap what you sow
Be more concerned with Giving than Receiving
Be a blessing not a problem
do your best
give your best
be your best
The Rest is up to HIM
