Fall is in the air! Balance yourself so you don't Fall

Yikes,  I woke up to the crisp Autumn Air blowing softly through my bedroom window.  AHHHH, I love the fall season.  The changing of the seasons is about endings and beginnings... changing and moving a new direction.   Pull out the boots and sweaters and the aroma of pumpkin pie!

OH, right!   Pumpkin pie time.

No problem facing the holidays of desserts, sweets.... Buffets of a million choices!

Why no problem?  Because when you become balanced you'll  look at these foods in a different way.

Here is what I suggest you seriously think about when it comes to what is BEST for you BODY (not your appetite):

Not easy, Right!    This is what I always "HATED about diets!"  I hated counting calories, carbs, sugars...  but How irresponsible to EAT without Thinking about what and why your eating!

The point is  FREAKIN THINK about what your putting into your body.
No,  I let me restate that-
Why don't you FREAKIN THINK about what you SHOVING in Your mouth this Holiday season.

When You look at a food say this Mantra (yes, make it your mantra)

Am I eating this because I feel hunger pangs or my body requires fuel?  
or am I just eating because I'm ....  _________?  Get in touch with how your feeling at the time your wanting to eat something because:  frustrated, angry, lonely, bored .... to be sociable?

Does this food contain Vitamins, Minerals, Proteins that My BODY NEEDS ?  
or is it empty calories that make my BUTT Big.

Does this portion reflect what my BODY NEEDS? 
 or should I just slap this on my BUTT?



Well,  I had to blog about this because I "feel" pumpkin in the air this morning.... preaching to the preacher!  

This 21 day (Oct 1 - Oct 21) was and is about physical balance - exercising my muscles!
Still on track, but as I HAVE REPEATEDLY SAID.... "it's all about Balance".

Just because I'm burning up the exercise mat doesn't mean I can PIG out on HOLIDAY food.
My reward for increasing my exercise routine is a Healthier ME!  Not the reward of 2 pieces of pumpkin pie!  Oh, for heaven's sake ....

don't we all F A L L into that Holiday Pit every year.  

That's why they created the "new years resolution" .... because of our mindless Holiday Eating!  LOL

Let's DO IT!   Get out that funky music, put on those ridiculous tight workout outfit and Give ourselves the best gift today...... Taking care of YOU!
