If you are fat read this:

IF you believe you are Spirit, Mind and Body then why run from hearing about "spiritual truths"?

If you are Fat .... read on

Wisdom is a tree of life to those who eat her fruit
happy is the man who keeps on eating it. Proverbs 3:18

Since I believe that we were created by God (Father of Jesus)
than why not read our "instruction manual"?

It has be a resounding thought in my mind  these past few months to .....

"FEED our SPIRIT" before feeding our face!

Eating out of discontent, frustration, boredom, unhappiness....

it's all about eating to satisfy
"something" inside us that just feels empty

it's all about "habits" we have developed

It's about instant "feelings of satisfaction"

When seeking to "eat something"... do you find your self  walking over to the Refrigerator and opening the door and staring like a deer in headlights?

ask yourself:

Am I hungry? (hunger pangs)
Or am I just wanting to satisfy something in me?

Then  Think....  "Lord, I need to Feed my soul before I feed my face".  This is a "spiritual battle within us!   We choose to feed carnal self before feeding our spiritual self.

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, self-control; against such there is no law.
(Galatians 5:16, 17, 22, 23 ASV)

We have a learned   behavior to want to FILL it with "food".
a "quick" fix to our emotional being.

Developed a habit
of seeking to fill up on the word of God
instead of a carton of Ice Cream.

You will be satisfied and become whole and well!

My thought for today
