Something wonderful Happened

Psalm 63: 1-5

A psalm of David. When he was in the Desert of Judah.

1 O God, you are my God,

earnestly I seek you;

my soul thirsts for you,

my body longs for you,

in a dry and weary land

where there is no water.

2 I have seen you in the sanctuary

and beheld your power and your glory.

3 Because your love is better than life,

my lips will glorify you.

4 I will praise you as long as I live,

and in your name I will lift up my hands.

5 My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods;

with singing lips my mouth will praise you.

When you arrive at the destination  where you are more consumed with what you'll feed your spirit than what you feed your face.... you will FIND what ALL men seek.  Love, Peace, Joy.... freedom to live as God Created Man to live.   Everyday we pack up our "baggage" and step onto a road WE choose.  We may think we know where we are headed but clearly we make choices to choose roads that do not lead us the destination we say we are seeking.  We get distracted and turn corners, make U Turns.... Ignore the Signs on the road that say, Stop, Yield, One way..... This way to the Emerald City! (hahaha)

This morning I looked back at the very first Blog I wrote APRIL 2009.  Then I read that January 1st 2009  is when I started my 21 Day's to Health and Wellness.  Here I am today, still needing to make the right choices BUT the WAR inside myself that I had experienced most of my life has been WON!

Yes, there are some small fights BUT NOT A WAR.  And as David said as he stood before the Giant with only a sling shot and 5 small pebbles.  That was after Saul gave David his own armor. David could hardly move. But, he didn't need  the "carnal way" to fight the enemy. No, HE just needed his Faith in GOD.. HE just needed to believe in His Savior.  BUT, HE had to take action!  Surely, God could have taken a lighting bolt to kill the Giant.  But God shows us through this Powerful Story that the youngest, smallest man stood up to a Giant when HE was obedient and followed the Lords directions. It only took FAITH to have the courage to TAKE action and kill the Giant.

I have learned that I need to take Action
drawing direction, strength and courage
from the Word of God and My Relationship the My Savior

The Lord has revealed to me during this Quest, Journey... whatever you want to call it... so many Truths about my LIFE.

If I could sum up the foundation of what I have learned about what I've been chasing all these years,
it would be this scripture verse Psalms 63: 1-5

HE is My God... HE is My Creator.  When I read my instruction manual, when I review how I was made and for the purpose I was made.... IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE.

I've been fooled just like EVE all those years.  Seeking to be my OWN God.  Trying to do it MY WAY. Forgetting or maybe wanting to ignore the call of my Savior to let HIM meet me and present to me ALL that will satisfy my Soul.

Everyday I now choose to NOT BITE THE APPLE (figuratively of course).  I walk through the Garden seeking HIM who created me.

And Oh, the Joy that floods my SOUL.
Something  wonderful Happened and Know I know
HE TOUCHED ME and made me WHOLE!

Move that mountain

What is Your mountain that needs to be moved?

Matthew 17:20

20He replied, "Because you have so little faith.
I tell you the truth,
if you have faith as small as a mustard seed,
you can say to this mountain,
'Move from here to there' and it will move.
Nothing will be impossible for you.

Need I say more?

Oh, my
I just was glancing through old post and Saw March 15, 2010
Crazy me.... I used the same title tonight.  And... last March I said that
I am the mountain that needs to be moved!    Careful, I see a pattern here!

A moment of Anger

For his anger endureth but a moment;
 in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning.

Am I better than God?  If His anger endureth but a moment.... then .....
When something occurs that causes me anger I need to only allow it but for a "moment".  Easier said than Done!

Ok, so I had someone say something and I developed feelings of  "anger" stirring inside of me.

I closed my eye's took a deep breath and visualized myself Blowing it away.  Nope, still there.  Then I said to myself  ;
"Self, why would you let this Rob you of your Joy?"

The person has no power over you.
So, what they said only has power to rob you if YOU LET IT.  Ok, go deep.

Reach inside your mind and take this though that lit your anger and diffuse it.

Go back to what you've learned.
TWO EMOTIONS:  Love and Fear

Anger is birthed in Fear

Freak....

What am I afraid of..... Oh, right... I got it....

Afraid that what was said to me is right.  AHHH HA!

So, let me think about this. Is what was said "right".  I'll exam this and then be honest with myself.  Is it a right thing that was said to me or is what was said only a statement to intimidate me and control me.  AHHH HA!  A Fear of someone being able to intimidated me and use it to control me.

I will not be scared or intimidated by anyone.   I'll hold myself up before the light of Christ and exam myself.   If this person was right, then I'll ask God to expose and heal me. If this person was wrong, then I'll dismiss what was said as "coming from the source" and has no power  over me.

I will use what happened as a seed to help me GROW!

There,  Diffused!  Yea.... Joy back

Nice!

Now, Shuddup a yourface!  HA HA HA

I think I'll just sing a Happy song out loud right now and then laugh at my antics ...

Ahhhh Joy cometh in the morning!   YEA

Learn from a child

It was a reminder yesterday as I watched my Grandchildren play.
How delightful that they live in the moment.

They are free to explore and laugh and taken in what is happening around them.  No preoccupation about what will be happening tomorrow.  Not even what will be happening in an hour!

We are HIS children.  Rest in Him.

Sometimes we're so eager grow up.  Like when you hear the child say "no, Mommy, I can do it myself".
Sometimes we need to stop pulling away (from Him).

Think about it
His hands to guide you
His hands to comfort you
His hands to hold you
His hands to discipline you
His hands to clap for you
His hands to feed you
His hands are always open

Take his hand, Be his Child

Now,  Go Play!

Salute!

chasing the wind

Oops, gotta run to work

Just dealing with some issues in life and want to remind myself about

"chasing the wind"

The wise King Solomon knew about what really makes us happy in life

I'll finish this later today.....

Ciao!
