YOU control your attitude and how you SEE life.

I pray you see  a Lemon Meringue pie, challenges to grow stronger, A silver lining, a half full glass.

end of the day thoughts -

I miss when I don't blog properly in the morning.  I mean, that my blogging was my time to re-enforce  and inspire me for the day.  I fall when I don't balance myself in the morning.  For sure

Ok, so here is what I read tonight:

John 11:9-10   

⁹Jesus answered, "Are there not twelve hours of daylight? 

A man who walks by day will not stumble, for he sees by this world's light. 

¹⁰It is when he walks by night that he stumbles, for he has no light."

I really do not like the night time for this very reason.... it's dark... things go bump in the night.... things hide... YIKES

Yes, I'm a scaredy cat - Thank God for Remote controls.  When I babysat as a teenager it would be horrible.  It would be like midnight and while watching "love american style" a scary commercial would come on and ... and.... I get chills just thinking about it.  I couldn't get to the TV fast enough to change the channel (no remotes in those days)... So, I'd cover my ears and sing "jesus loves me" out loud to drown out the sound of the TV.  

Point is.... I recognize that I'm afraid of the dark.  And when I talk about balance.... same truth holds.  Darkness in my natural world and Darkness in my Spiritual world.  

I want to walk in the light.... therefore I must READ the "light".  He (Jesus) is the light.  

So in the morning I will blog and prepare myself to have a successful day walking in the LIGHT of his Love, Grace, Strength, Forgiveness, Mercy and.... WOW.... Walk in Him.

How can we be the most amazing creatures on this earth and yet make such STUPID choices?

How can our generation have immediate access to Unlimited Knowledge, yet walk BLIND?

We are ignorant, stupid people when we forget our creator and for WHY we are created.
When we Choose to neglect we are  a SPIRITUAL being

A Shot in the Arm

It's disturbing to me why the most simplest concepts allude us.




Let me say it again (said in other blogs)


When we laugh - little fabulous chemicals are released in our body.   These "chemicals" are like a medicine that bring us health and wellness to our body and mind.   It's like a shot in the arm of "health".   This is a medical and spiritual truth.

So, do you get this?

Then Get THIS:

Just as laughter (an emotion) is life giving, healthy and medicinal.... so is

Anger (an emotion) death to your body, 

produces diseases/illnesses and is a venom!

What? you think our lives are a one way street?  

I know, I know.... what that person did was terrible, wrong... 

they "deserve" to be hated.  

You say they don't "deserve" my forgiveness or understanding... whatever

Unfortunately, for YOU

Hatred poison's YOUR BODY AND MIND and SPIRIT.  

It's like a venom in your blood stream reeking havoc on Every Cell in your body and MIND too!.

The trouble is this.  We at times WANT to be angry.  Like it's a right of ours.

Ok, initially You should be angry when someone or something wrongs you or someone else. BUT CHANNEL that anger !  Take it and turn it around to be productive.

Emotions are an energy!  Channel the energy.  Once something is created it will always exist.  So it must be channeled, transformed, re-cycled... etc.

The only way you can do this is to first acknowledge that the emotion anger is a "VENOM" that has been injected into your body.

The Antidote is, I believe, is a Spiritual one.  Oh, I know there are many books, and Lecturer's that use the World's way... religious beliefs... guru type stuff,

great, if it works for you.

For me,  I go to my creator's instruction manual

the Bible.

I seek His truth on what to do with the Anger I have experienced.

I immediately recognize when I get mad that I'm only hurting me with anger.

So, If someone has wronged me, why HURT MYSELF MORE by being angry.  That really means I've been hurt TWICE!  

Once they did it to me and Once I did it to myself.

Ouch, that hurts  

STOP IT already!

So, when someone or something really tick's you off.

STOP, Take a Couple of deep breaths

Re-Focus on taking that emotion you're experiencing and re-directing it.

I don't know about you, but I need the mercy and grace of God to help me at times re-direct my anger. I have to be willing to let go.  

Let go of something (anger) that's only HURTING ME

Robbing me of my peace and happiness.

Plus, if all emotions are rooted in two emotions: LOVE or FEAR

then I have to say.. "what am I'm afraid of?" when I'm angry.

This is a Powerful Question if you're honest enough to really think about it.

So, today... get in touch with your emotions:  are they based in Love or Fear?

What do you do with them?

Your emotions bring you Health or Illness

your choice

Exercise your mind, spirit and body today!

Take charge of YOU

RESPECT YOURSELF

HONOR YOUR BODY

it's so interesting to me  as I searched for the pictures in this blog the feelings associated with seeing faces of laughter vs faces of anger.  


It reminds me that:
Our eye's ARE the windows of our souls.

I will give you a new spirit that is faithful to me.

I can work on exercising my body

I can work on exercising my mind

I can work on exercising my spirit

but only my creator can give me a 

NEW HEART ! 

 Wow,  Think about that!  

I want a New something..... most eveything on me is ... well, not so new.... a little sagging, dropping, and wrinkling.  BUT, wow.... a new heart!  I'll take it.

That means when HE gives me a NEW heart, my body, mind and Spirit are Re-NEWED!

The Heart is the center of my being.  It's were I find my desires, hopes, dreams.... focus about life.  

My heart has been broken in the past - I'm mean REALLY BROKEN!  such pain I shouldn't wish on anyone.  

But, wow.... I have the opportunity to have a NEW Heart!  That means, NO SCARS.... 

it's strong and ready to be open to be loved and to love.

I love the song in the movie Funny Girl  "HIS LOVE MAKES ME BEAUTIFUL".  Ahhhh 

so true.

Ever see a bride that didn't glow!   How about the amazing look on a women who is so happy to pregnant!

WE ARE BEAUTIFUL when we have love in our hearts.  Beauty Starts INSIDE!  You can spend a fortune in time and money working on the EXTERIOR but TRUE beauty starts inside your soul!  

Nice to know I don't have to drink lemon water with syrup in it and starve for day's just to DETOX my heart.   Give it to the LORD - Have him examine your heart and then 

allow HIM to give you a NEW HEART.

What a treasure.  (this weeks theme in my mind.... seeking life's treasures)
